The Florida International University School of Hospitality and Tourism Management Scholarship Selection Committee – Tianjin Center has selected eight students from a group of 25 outstanding applicants, as recipients of the Marriott Scholars award for 2009 - 2010.  After extensive review and evaluation of the student’s personal essay, resume, faculty and employer recommendations, each committee member assigned a point value ranging from one to five on each of the individual criteria.  Total points were then calculated for each student application.  We are pleased to announce the award of the scholarships, based on the highest number of points earned by the applicants.
